ANDES

ANDES (Association Nationale de Développement des Epiceries Solidaires) is one of France’s leading food aid networks, created in 2000 to ensure that food is a right for all, and a gateway to sustainable integration for people in precarious situations.

Solidarité Alimentaire France, which carries the ANDES brand, is an association under the French law of 1901, and has been a member of Groupe SOS since 2019.

The donation from SOCAPS Fund helped to purchase the association’s furniture, which was bought from resourceries.

SOCAPS Fund is therefore helping to support a local project with a strong environmental impact (systematizing the fight against food waste by enabling the recovery of unsold fruit and vegetables from wholesalers, as well as from local farmers and manufacturers), and a strong social impact via integration through economic activity (sustainable professional integration of people far from employment).
